COACHES <br /> 13.1 Registration – Coach Programme <br /> Only coaches in possession of the “WKF Accredited Coach” level have access to the “WKF <br /> Certified Kumite/Kata Coach Exam”. <br /> The “WKF Coach Course” will take place: <br /> DATE HOUR ACTIVITY PLACE <br /> 26/11/2025 <br /> 08:00 – 09:00 Registration for Coach Program <br /> CANYON-3 <br /> 09:00 – 11:00 Accredited Coach Briefing <br /> 11:00 – 11:45 Kumite Coach Exam <br /> 11:45 – 12:30 Kata Coach Exam <br /> 13:00 – 14:00 Certified Kata/Kumite Results <br /> 16:00 – 18:00 Coach Accreditation and Meeting CANYON-1 <br /> The online registration to take part in the “Accredited Briefing & Kata/Kumite Coach <br /> Exam” will open on 27 August 2025 and will close on 12 November 2025. <br /> 13.1.1 Fees <br /> Please be reminded that the fees for the Program for WKF Coaches are as follows: <br /> Briefing for “Accredited Coach” level (new application or license renewal): 300 EUR <br /> Examination for “Certified Kumite Coach” (new application or license renewal): 350 EUR <br /> Examination for “Certified Kata Coach” (new application or license renewal): 350 EUR <br /> All payments must be made through Sportdata platform via PayPal. <br /> The minimum level required for coaches to take part in Karate World Championships is: <br /> “WKF Certified Kumite/Kata Coach” certification <br /> P890TB83#y1 <br /> COACH PROGRAMME <br /> REGISTRATION <br /> 21 <br /> No other methods of payment will be accepted. <br /> Registrations and payments onsite will not be accepted. <br /> Should you have any technical difficulties when registering, please contact <br /> support@sportsid.org. <br /> 13.2 Registration – Coaches officiating in competition <br /> The online registration for coaches intending to participate in the Karate World <br /> Championships Cairo 2025, 27 August 2025 and will close on 12 November 2025. <br /> All registrations for the Karate World Championships Cairo 2025 must be processed online. <br /> No registration will be accepted after the official online registration deadline. <br /> Onsite registration will not be accepted. <br /> Should you have any technical difficulties when registering, please contact <br /> support@sportsid.org. <br /> 13.3 Specific information for PARA-KARATE Coaches and personal assistants <br /> The minimum WKF Coach certification to performer as Para-Karate Coach is the WKF Certified <br /> Kata Coach (level 2 of the WKF Coach Programme). <br /> Maximum of three coaches can be registered for Para-Karate per Nation. <br /> Every Para-Karate athlete can be accompanied by a personal assistant during their <br /> performance in the field of play. <br /> Coaches and assistants accompanying Para-Karate athletes MUST register together with their <br /> delegation at the onsite registration session only. <br /> All athletes must use the same sportswear and equipment for classification as they use during <br /> competitions. <br /> Concerning athletes with visual impairments, no extra testing will be performed during the <br /> classification session. Nevertheless, the athletes have to show up to the classification with the <br /> documents and equipment mentioned above. Extra points will be given based on the Medical <br /> Diagnostic Form. <br /> Additionally, there will be a WKF Para Karate Classifiers Education Programme that will take <br /> place on: <br /> P905T 84#y <br /> COACH <br /> REGISTRATION <br /> 22 <br /> DATE HOUR ACTIVITY PLACE <br /> 27/11/2025 10:00 – 18:00 Classification Session for ParaKarate Athletes CANYON-2 <br /> 28/11/2025 <br /> 10:00 – 14:00 Classification Session for ParaKarate Athletes <br /> CANYON-2 <br /> 17:00 – 18:00 Para-Karate Coach meeting & Draw <br /> The online registration for these activities will be the following: <br /> WKF Para-Karate Classifier’s Education Seminar: from October 2nd to October 9th. <br /> Para Karate Classifiers Education Programme Level 1: from September 7th to October 2nd. <br /> 14. MEDIA AND PRESS <br /> 14.1 Media Accreditation <br /> Media professionals can register to request press accreditations until November 20 through <br /> the online registration form. <br /> Press accreditation can only be given to professional journalists working for a media and <br /> having proof of their credentials. The media passes may be collected at the accreditation desk <br /> at the venue during the competition days and also at Registration Day. <br /> 14.2 Media Access <br /> Access to media work areas is restricted to credentialed journalists and photographers <br /> covering the event. Accredited journalists will only have access to the designated Media areas <br /> (Press Tribune, Mixed Zone). <br /> 14.3 TV Production <br /> The WKF owns all the rights pertaining to TV issues of the Karate World Championships. <br /> The Karate World Championships will be broadcast on a number of TV and media platforms. <br /> The competition will be available to a worldwide viewing audience through a high-quality TV <br /> production which will be provided to TV networks around the world following the agreements <br /> of the WKF with these networks. <br /> P950T 85#y <br /> MEDIA <br /> REGISTRATION <br /> 23 <br /> Due to these agreements VIDEO RECORDING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED UNDER ANY <br /> CIRCUMSTANCE. <br /> No credentialed media may take video footage (including digital) without prior written consent <br /> from the WKF. Only TV rights holders will be allowed to film and record footage of the <br /> competition. The WKF reserves the right to revoke credentials for unprofessional behaviour or <br /> conduct. <br /> 14.4 YouTube Streaming <br /> The eliminations of the 2025 Karate World Championships will be available by streaming on <br /> WKF YouTube Channel <br /> Additionally, the medal bouts will also be available by streaming on the WKF YouTube Channel <br /> limited to those countries without TV rights. <br /> In the countries where TV networks have acquired the rights to distribute the event, the medal <br /> bouts will be available only on the listed TV channels. <br /> 14.5 Media Day <br /> The WKF will host a Media Day at the Registration Area on 26th November 2025, from 10:00h <br /> to 17:00h.
